Commercial Robbery Arrest - Brooklyn Park
On April 9, 2017 at approximately 1:20 p.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at the Metro PCS store located at 5620 Ritchie Hwy in Brooklyn Park. Upon arrival, officers learned that a male had entered the business, placed a handgun against the back of an employee, and demanded currency. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, and fled the business on foot. The suspect was observed getting into the front passenger seat of a black Honda.
A lookout for this vehicle was broadcast, and officers located it nearby. A traffic stop was conducted and both occupants detained. The front passenger was positively identified as the suspect by the clerk from Metro PCS. The driver was also placed under arrest. Both were charged with armed robbery and related charges.

Commercial Robbery - Glen Burnie
On April 8, 2017 at 3:33 a.m., officers responded to a robbery at the Royal Farms store located at 200 Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie. The clerk and three others were standing outside when they were approached by a male who implied he was armed by having one of his hands in his pocket. He told the three other subjects standing with the clerk to leave and directed the clerk inside the store. Upon entering the store, the suspect told the clerk to give him the money from the registers. The clerk complied and gave the suspect a large amount of U.S. currency. The suspect then fled from the store on foot. Officers and K-9 searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects.
Suspect: Male, black, approximately 6’00” – 6’02”, 250 lbs., wearing a dark blue jacket with reflective tape, dark pants, winter gloves, and a black ski mask.
