Impersonating a Police Officer                                                                                Glen Burnie


On September 21, 2017 at approximately 9:58 p.m., officers responded the parking lot of 7954 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie for a subject possibly impersonating a police officer. The adult male victim stated the suspect approached him asking him if he had any marijuana. When the victim replied, “yes” the suspect produced a Marshall Executive Protection Security Agent identification card told him he was a Federal Marshall. The suspect then told the victim to give him the marijuana and his money or he would be placed under arrest.


The victim turned over currency and approximately one gram of marijuana. Officers located the suspect and determined that he was not a law enforcement officer. He was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Discharge of Firearm                                                                                                Glen Burnie


          On September 22, 2017 at approximately 4:40 a.m., officers responded the 7900 block of East Park Road in Glen Burnie for citizen reports of hearing 3-5 gunshots in the area. When officers arrived they located a Glock magazine loaded with 9mm ammunition near the roadway. After conducting a neighborhood door to door canvass, officers located an uncooperative adult male victim inside a residence. The victim stated that while outside talking to a friend, he was approached by several unknown subjects who began punching and kicking him. The victim stated that he did not know who had a gun and could not provide any description of the suspects.  No damage or injuries from the gunshots were reported.


Detectives from the Eastern District will be following up with the investigation.   There is no further information available at this time.
