Indecent Exposure Pasadena
On June 29, 2017, at approximately 8:40 a.m., officers responded to Wal-Mart located at 8107 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena for an indecent exposure. The adult female victim advised that while walking in the parking lot, a small red car pulled up next to her. She observed that the car was being driven by a male that had his penis exposed and was masturbating. She stated that after being noticed, the male quickly drove off the parking lot. Officers were able to obtain the video surveillance from Wal-Mart that showed the incident that was reported by the victim. The vehicle was a small red Chevy Cavalier.
On July 12, 2017, at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers responded to Java Divas located at 8355 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena Road for an indecent exposure. The adult female employee stated a white male driving a small red car pulled into the drive through. When the employee looked into the vehicle, she observed that he had his penis exposed and was masturbating. The victim was able to obtain the vehicle tag number and report it to officers. The victim also stated that this same individual had committed an indecent exposure in May, however they did not report the incident to police.
Officers responded to the vehicle owner’s address and made contact with the Dylan Whelchel. Mr. Whelchel matched the suspect description and was positively identified as the suspect. He was taken into custody and charged with (3) counts of indecent exposure for the June 29th, July 12th, and May incidents.

Commercial Robbery Odenton
On July 13, 2017 at approximately 5:40 a.m., officers responded to the Dunkin Donuts store located at 1336 Defense Highway for an armed robbery. The clerk stated that two suspects entered the business, implied a weapon, and announced a robbery. The clerk complied and the suspect took an underdetermined amount of currency before fleeing the business. Numerous officers responded to search the area but the suspects was not located. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Heroin Task Force
In the month of June the Anne Arundel County Heroin Task Force (HTF), which is comprised of members from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office, the Annapolis Police Department and the Baltimore Police Department, developed information on two locations conspiring to distribute heroin in Anne Arundel County. On June 23, 2017 detectives executed a search warrant at 935 Stoll Street in Baltimore City and on June 29, 2017 executed a search warrant at 8354 Catherine Avenue in Pasadena. As a result, heroin, currency, a rifle, and paraphernalia indicating the distribution of heroin was recovered.
As a result of this operation, detectives seized the following:
935 Stoll Street:
- (23) twenty-three glass vials of heroin (total approximate street value $345.00)
- $718.00 in currency
- Paraphernalia and packaging material indicating the distribution of heroin
8354 Catherine Avenue:
· 22 cal rifle
· Ammunition and handgun magazines
