Northern District

Armed Robbery                                                                                            Brooklyn Park

On June 8, 2018 at 1:41 a.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at 4000 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Two male suspects entered the store. One of the males displayed a handgun and demanded property and cash.  The clerk complied and the suspects fled.  Several officers searched the area with the assistance of the K9 unit, however were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspects:

1)      White male, 5’-11” tall

2)      Black male, 5’-08” tall

Western District

Assault/Shooting                                                                                                        Laurel

On June 7, 2018 at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded for the report of a shooting on Jill Lane near Old Line Avenue in Laurel.  Upon arrival, officers located a 26 year old male suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was conscious, however refused to provide further information to officers.  The victim was transported to Shock Trauma for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers canvassed the area for possible witnesses or suspects, however none were located.

Citizen Strong-Arm Robbery                                                                                         Severn     

On June 7, 2018 at approximately 11:04 p.m., officers responded to 1800 block of Arwell Court for the report of a robbery. A pizza delivery driver was making a delivery at a residence when he was approached by two males.  The males assaulted the delivery driver and stole cash and property from him. Several officers searched the area with the assistance of the K9 unit, however were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspects:

1)      Tall black male wearing a sleeveless tank top

2)      Short black male wearing dark clothing and a red and yellow baseball hat
