Northern District

 

Commercial Robbery                                                                                               Brooklyn

 

On June 4, 2018 at approximately 4:25 a.m. officers responded to a robbery at the 7-Eleven store located at 4000 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park.  The store employee advised the two suspects entered the store, implied they had weapons, and took e-cigarettes.  The suspects then fled the store on foot. Several officers responded and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries.

Suspects:

1)      White male, short height, wearing shorts and a possibly dark sweatshirt

2)      Black male, tall height, wearing all dark clothing

 

 

Commercial Robbery                                                                                               Glen Burnie

 

On June 1, 2018 at approximately 3:50 p.m. officers responded to a robbery at the Metro PCS located at 1701 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie.  The store employee advised the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money.  The employee complied and the suspect fled the business. Several officers responded and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries.

Suspect:

1)      White male, wearing all dark clothing and sunglasses

 

Eastern District

 

Assault                                                                                                                        Glen Burnie

 

On June 3, 2018 at approximately 1:40 p.m. officers responded to Baltimore Washington Medical Center located at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie for a stabbing/assault that occurred earlier.  Officers spoke with an adult male from Baltimore that had a non-life-threatening stab wound to the upper body.  The victim would not tell officers where and/or why he had been stabbed.  Through investigation officers learned that he was dropped off at the hospital by a family member.  Officers responded to an address in Pasadena where the family member was located.   They advised they received a phone call from the victim asking to be picked up in the area of Dorsey Road and Rt. 648 in Glen Burnie.  The family member states they picked up the victim dropped him off at the hospital, then left.  There is no further information available. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.  

 

 

Assault                                                                                                                        Glen Burnie

 

On June 1, 2018 at approximately 7:05 p.m. officers responded to Baltimore Washington Medical Center located at 301 Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie for a shooting/assault that occurred earlier.  Officers spoke with an adult male victim from Severn that had a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the upper body.  The victim was uncooperative and refused to provide any information. Through investigation officers were able to determine that the shooting occurred in the 7800 block of Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie.  Officers responded to that location and located four shell casings in the parking lot.  A neighborhood canvass was conducted and no other victims or property damage was located.  There is no further information available. Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
