Fight/Stabbing (UPDATE) Glen Burnie
On February 24, 2018 at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a fight/stabbing in a parking lot in the 100 block of Chesapeake Center Court in Glen Burnie. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that a verbal confrontation escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, three people sustained non-life threatening cuts/stab wounds. All victims were transported to local hospitals where they were treated and released. Northern District detectives continue to investigate this case in an attempt to identify and charge a suspect. Any updates will be provided when more information is available.
Throughout this investigation detectives were able to identify a suspect in this incident. An arrest warrant was obtained and on February 27, 2018 at approximately 1:00 a.m., the suspect was taken into custody. He has been charged with 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct, and other related charges.

Carjacking Glen Burnie
On February 26, 2018 at approximately 1:47 p.m., officers responded to a carjacking in the parking lot of Southgate Plaza on Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie. The adult female victim advised that as she was getting into her car when the suspect pushed her and drove off in her vehicle. Several officers responded and canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect and/or vehicle. The vehicle is described as a maroon Honda CRV with Maryland tag 62774HT. The victim was not injured in this incident.
