School Threat Pasadena
On November 6, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Anne Arundel County Police were made aware of a social media post containing a threat of violence towards Northeast High School in Pasadena. Officers quickly identified the person who posted the threat as a 16 year old male from Glen Burnie. Officers responded to his residence where they met with the juvenile and his parents. The juvenile, who has no affiliation with the school, claimed that he meant the post as a joke and quickly deleted the post from his social media account. Officers determined the juvenile did not have the means to carry out his threat and there is no danger to the school. The juvenile has been taken a local hospital where he currently remains. Charges are currently pending as the investigation continues. Additional officers will be at the school throughout the day as a visible presence.
Commercial Robbery Pasadena
On November 4, 2017 at approximately 9:29 a.m. officers responded for a robbery at the Subway located at 2332 Mountain Road in Pasadena. A store employee stated the suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled from the business. Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police canine unit, but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Commercial Robbery Glen Burnie
On November 4, 2017 at approximately 6:47 p.m. officers responded for a robbery at the Metro PCS located at 7553Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. A store employee stated the suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect from the business. Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police canine unit, but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

On November 3, 2017 at approximately 5:50 p.m. officers responded for a robbery at the Metro PCS located at 7499 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. A store employee stated the suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect from the business. Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police canine unit, but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

***Robbery detectives are investigating these three robberies, as well as the November 3, 2017 robbery of the GNC in Crofton as being related and committed by the same suspect***

Serious Crash Involving Pedestrian Edgewater
Officer’s responded to the area of Fairhill Drive and Londontown Road in Edgewater for a report of a pedestrian struck with the suspect fleeing the scene. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and detained the driver. The 16 year old victim was transported to Shock Trauma for non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation revealed the operator of the suspect vehicle intentionally struck the victim as he was walking along the road. The suspect was charged with attempted homicide, first degree assault, and related charges.
