Bank Robbery (Update/Arrest) Glen Burnie
On January 12, 2018 at approximately 9:52 a.m. officers responded for a bank robbery at 1st Mariner Bank located at 305 Crain Highway S in Glen Burnie. A bank teller stated the suspect entered the bank, provided a note announcing the robbery and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled from the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspects:
1) White, male, approximately 6’0”, stocky/large build

On September 14, 2018 at approximately 2:15 p.m. officers responded for a bank robbery at Howard Bank located at 305 Crain Highway S in Glen Burnie. A bank teller stated the suspect entered the bank, provided a note announcing the robbery and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled from the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspects:
2) White, male, approximately 6’0”, stocky/large build
UPDATE (9/18/18)
During the investigation, detectives were able to positively identify the suspect involved in these bank robberies. The suspect was located and taken into custody on September 18, 2018. A search warrant was executed at his residence as well as on his vehicle. Detectives were also able to link him to an additional bank robbery in another jurisdiction. The suspect was charged with two counts of armed robbery, robbery, and theft for his involvement in the two bank robberies listed above.

Controlled Dangerous Substance Violation Annapolis
On August 30, 2018, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Narcotics and Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Browns Woods Road in Annapolis, Maryland. The suspect was not on scene and detectives applied for an arrest warrant. The commissioner issued a summons instead of a warrant therefor there is no booking photo available. Detectives recovered the following items:
CDS Seized:
381 grams of marijuana (estimated street value $7,600.00)
156 grams of psilocybin mushrooms “shrooms” (estimated street value $5,470.00)
37 canisters of THC oil (estimated street value $700.00)
1 vial of Testosterone
1 vial of Trenacetate

Hasz, Matthew Nathan
26 years of age
100 block of Browns Wood Road
Charges:
Possession with intent to distribute (three charges)
Possession of CDS (five charges)
