Police Press Release - October 4, 2021
Shooting / Brooklyn
On October 1, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Cross Street and 6th Avenue in Brooklyn. Evidence of a shooting was located in that area and a short time later, Baltimore City Police responded to an address a short distance away for a gunshot victim. That victim is believed to have been shot at the above location and was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Assault / Glen Burnie
On October 1, 2021, at approximately 5:40 p.m. officers responded to the Anne Arundel Medical Center for a report of a stabbing. An adult female victim sustained a minor sharp force injury to an extremity at an unknown location. The victim reported she was approached by a suspect with brown hair (unknown gender or race) who stabbed her with a kitchen knife. The victim stated the suspect then fled, and she began to walk along an unknown road until she came upon an individual she knew from her community. That individual, who remains unidentified, transported her to the hospital and dropped her off. Disorderly Conduct / Assault on Police Officer - Hanover
On October 3, 2021, at approximately 11:45 p.m. officers responded for a disorderly intoxicated subject at the MD Live Casino. The officers located the subject and asked him to leave the premises. While the subject was walking away he began to damage casino property. As officers attempted to take the subject into custody, the subject became combative. Officers were able to restrain the subject who, as officers were placing him into a vehicle to be transported, bit one of the officers on the officer’s forearm, causing a laceration. The subject, once effectively restrained, was transported to central booking for processing and was charged accordingly. The suspect did not report any injuries to himself and the officer was treated and released from a local hospital.

Citizen Robbery - Millersville
On October 1, 2021, at approximately 10:05 p.m. officers responded to a citizen robbery in the 600 block of Old Mill Road in Millersville. The juevnile male victim was walking through the parking lot of the Church on the Rock when he was approached by four juvenile males who assaulted him and stole his wallet and other personal property. Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie
On October 3, 2021, at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers responded to a citizen robbery that occurred at Claus Liquors located at 604 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. At approximately 10:00 p.m. two adult male victims were assaulted by two unknown black male suspects. One of the suspects stole cash from one of the victims. One of the victims believes he saw a handgun tucked into the waistband of one of the suspects. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Both victims received minor injuries from the assault. Weapons Violation - Deale
On October 3, 2021, at approximately 9:20 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a loaded .45 caliber Glock 30 handgun and a small amount of marijuana. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
