Commercial Robberies (Arrest Update) - Hanover
On October 26, 2018 at approximately 8:55 a.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Subway restaurant located in the 7600 block of Dorchester Boulevard in Hanover. An unknown male entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money from the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled from the store toward Dorchester Boulevard. Officers searched the area however did not locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspect: Black male, 5’7” – 5’9”, 130 lbs., wearing a black jacket and jeans.
On October 27, 2018 at approximately 7:53 a.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Starbucks located in the 7600 block of Dorchester Boulevard in Hanover. An unknown male entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled from the store towards Dorchester Boulevard. Officers canvassed the area; however they did not locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
Suspect: Black, male, 5’7” – 5’9”, approximately 130 lbs., wearing a black jacket and jeans.
Update 10/30/18
Through investigation it was determined that the suspect was the same in both of these robberies. Detectives were able to positively identify the suspect as Nicholas Daniel Pearson. Pearson was taken into custody on October 29, 2018, and charged with both of these robberies and related offenses.
