Weapons Violation / Glen Burnie

On October 21, 2021, at approximately 12:25 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Continental Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of gunshots fired. Upon arrival, officers met with witnesses who advised that several suspects exited a gold vehicle and began shooting between houses on Continental and Candlelight Lane.  Additional suspects involved entered a residence in the 200 block of Candlelight Lane.  Two juvenile males were ordered out of the house and detained. A search warrant was executed at the residence, resulting in the seizure of a loaded 9mm Glock handgun.  One of the juveniles, a 17-year-old from Glen Burnie, was charged with weapons-related offenses. Other suspects involved in this incident remain at large. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. On October 21, 2021, at approximately 7:50 p.m. officers were checking on a business located in the 600 block of Crain Highway in Glen burnie when they observed a subject known to have an outstanding arrest warrant. The subject was taken into custody and found to be in possession of 31.03 grams of suspected crack cocaine, along with $1,163.00 of U.S. currency.

Western District
Theft from Auto Spree / Crofton

On October 22, 2021, at approximately 4:50 a.m., officers responded for a report of suspicious activity in the area of Nantucket Drive and Riedel Road in Crofton.  Callers reported seeing two individuals in the street pulling on door handles of parked vehicles. Upon arrival, officers located the suspects.  One of the suspects fled but was soon located hiding under a vehicle. The suspects were found to be in possession of items taken from the vehicles. Both suspects were arrested and charged.
