Weapons Violation / Hanover (21-737024)

Northern District
Commercial Armed Robbery / Linthicum

On October 31, 2021, at approximately 6:30 a.m. officers responded to an armed robbery at the Royal Farms Store located at 400 South Camp Meade Road in Linthicum. A male suspect entered the store with a duffle bag and began removing merchandise from the shelves. The store manager approached the suspect and attempted to stop him. The suspect assaulted the manager, displayed a handgun, and continued to steal additional property. The suspect then fled with the bag full of merchandise. Robbery Unit detectives are investigating and asking anyone with any information to call 410-222-4720 or the TipLine 410-222-4700. Northern District
Theft, Assault, Hit & Run / Glen Burnie

On October 31, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers responded to the Spirit of Halloween store located on East Ordnance road for a theft/assault/hit & run. An employee called in advising that two females were in the store shoplifting. When she confronted the suspects they assaulted her. The duo then exited the business and got in an occupied silver Acura. The driver of the Acura attempted to hit the employee with the vehicle before striking an unoccupied vehicle and fleeing the scene. Silver Acura


Western District
Weapons Violation / Hanover

On October 31, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded to multiple reports of reckless driving and speeding in the area of Dorsey Road and Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover. A responding officer observed a black Mercedes commit multiple traffic offenses and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle which led to the seizure of a loaded 9mm Bersa handgun and a small amount of suspected marijuana.
