On June 24, 2018 at approximately 5:48 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle crash on Arundel Mills Boulevard and Bass Pro Drive in Hanover. Preliminary investigation showed that a Victory motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Bass Pro Drive approaching Arundel Mills Boulevard driving between other vehicles that were stopped for a red traffic signal.  The motorcycle entered the intersection against the red traffic signal and was struck by the a Honda Pilot that was traveling southbound on Arundel Mills Boulevard facing a steady green traffic signal.

The motorcycle operator and passenger were transported to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries.  The driver and passenger of the Honda suffered minor injuries and were transported to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
