On January 26, 2021 at approximately 6:10 p.m. Northern District officers responded to Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard at Furnace Branch Road West in Glen Burnie for a crash involving multiple vehicles. A witness told officers the driver of the at fault vehicle, a silver Chevy Silverado, was attempting to leave the scene. Officers quickly located and detained the driver. The investigation resulted in the recovery of four gel capsules containing suspected Heroin, and a bag containing 78 gel capsules containing suspected Heroin from the vehicle and driver who was subsequently arrested and charged.

Shots Fired / Glen Burnie

On January 27, 2021 at approximately 12:00 a.m. Northern District officers responded to the area of the 300 block of Gatewater Court in Glen Burnie for a report of shots heard coming from a vehicle. A witness advised a dark colored SUV drove past the building and fired several shots. No damage was located on any of the parked vehicles or the buildings. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspect(s).
