Commercial Robbery (Arrest) / Brooklyn Park
On February 23, 2020 at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers received a call for a hold up alarm at the 7-Eleven located at 5617 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. Upon arrival, officers met with the store clerk who reported a male suspect entered the store, implied he had a gun and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area but were not immediately able to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as a 6’2” tall white male wearing a green hooded jacket, blue baseball cap and dark pants. This description was very similar to those given at several other recent commercial robberies.
Through investigation, robbery detectives were able to positively identify a suspect. A warrant was obtained charging this suspect with this robbery and four previous commercial robberies:

2-14-2020 - 7-Eleven, 495 Old Mill Road, Millersville
2-15-2020 - Royal Farms, 8551 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena
2-21-2020 - Shell Dash-In, 8695 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena
The Anne Arundel County Police Fugitive Apprehension Team quickly located the suspect and placed him in custody.

Citizen Robbery / Glen Burnie
On February 21, 2020 at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers responded for a citizen robbery. The adult male victim advised he was walking home from a grocery store located in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway when he was approached by a tall, thin, black male wearing dark clothing. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s belongings. The suspect fled the scene through the woods with the victim’s property. The victim was not injured. Shots Fired / Glen Burnie
On 2/23/20 at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area. Upon completing an area canvas, officers located a motorcycle, under a portable cover, which had 4 direct bullet holes in a 4 inch grouping to the gas tank area. It appears that this was an intentional act. The owner also noted 4 tires on his work van were slashed. Assault / Laurel
On February 24, 2020 at approximately 12:10 a.m., officers responded to Laurel Regional Hospital for a report of a stabbing that occurred earlier in the area of Walmart / Sam’s Club located at 3549 Russett Green East in Laurel. At approximately 9:00 p.m., a 47 year old male observed a fight involving a group of five or six juveniles and attempted to intervene. While doing so he was stabbed in his lower abdomen by one of the juveniles. The juveniles then fled and the the victim drove himself to the hospital. Western District Detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-222-6155.
Suspects: 5-6 juveniles, 12-14 years old.
