On August 23, 2021, at approximately 5:45 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a blue Honda van at Ritchie Highway and Kellington Drive in Pasadena. While speaking with the driver, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 81 grams of suspected marijuana packaged in 27 individual plastic bags, a digital scale, and a Cold Diamond 38 Special revolver loaded with six rounds of ammunition. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
