On April 15, 2019 at approximately 7:10 a.m. officers received a call for shots fired in the 170 block of Virginia Lane in Glen Burnie. Once on scene, officers found a deceased male later identified as Tyrique Hudson (22 year old, 100 block of Virginia Lane Glen Burnie) suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot(s). Mr. Hudson was inside the apartment building but in a publicly accessed area. Witnesses told officers they observed the suspect standing over the victims body and that the two have had an on-going issue. At approximately 5:00 p.m. members from the Anne Arundel County Police Department's Quick Response Team were able to take the suspect into custody without any additional casualties. The scene was turned over to detectives and as of this writing is still being processed.
