Police Info - Pasadena, MD.

On October 12, 2015 at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to an address on Silver Circle in Pasadena for someone who had recovered a “possible” homemade explosive device.  The homeowner showed officers a device that was found behind the shed in the backyard.  As a precaution, the area was secured and some homes within a close proximity were evacuated.

The fire department responded and determined that the device was safe, identifying it as several inert firecrackers placed in a toilet paper roll. All residents were allowed to return to their homes. At this time the origin of the device has not been determined.
