Package Delivery Thefts Arrests - Hanover/Odenton

Over the past week, numerous thefts of delivered packages to residences in the Western District have been reported to our agency for investigation.  Some of those reports included witnesses who observed a white passenger car being involved in the incidents.

On December 21, 2015, a tip was received and numerous police officers working in the Arundel Mills Mall area began to canvass the area. They located a suspect vehicle near Dorchester Boulevard and Arundel Mills Boulevard in Hanover.  The vehicle was stopped and through investigation, it was determined to be involved in the theft of numerous packages throughout the district.

Members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Western District Detective Unit responded and began investigating the incident to link the recovered property to their rightful owners.   Some of the property has been returned to the victims; however, there are still some items that have not been linked to any open investigation.  If any person in these areas are still missing packages that were delivered by a courier, please email Det. Dan Pamer #1565 at [email protected] or Det. Erick Patterson #1825 at [email protected] with images of their missing property and the details of their package delivery.
