Fall Transit Service Changes
Annapolis, MD (October 20, 2020) – Anne Arundel County Office of Transportation is announcing several new enhancements to existing routes and two new services beginning in November 2020. The additional routes are key to establishing the most responsive mobility services possible to residents of the county.
The following service changes are to take effect on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
Crofton Connector Enhanced
The current Crofton Connector provides peak hour service from Crofton to Fort Meade via Waugh Chapel and Odenton MARC Train Station.
The service will be extended to the Crofton Park and Ride Lot on Crawford and will now provide service inside Waugh Chapel Shopping Center.
AA-204 (Brooklyn Park Connector) - NEW
The Brooklyn Park Connector service is a transit service that will deviate ½ mile within the fixed route serving Glen Burnie and Brooklyn Park. These services will operate from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday- Friday and Saturday
- Serves Ferndale and Brooklyn Park.
- Connections to the MVA in Ferndale.
- Deviations within ½-mile zone are provided upon request for ADA passengers that meet the ridership criteria and must be requested 2 hours in advance.
Saturday Shopper Shuttle - NEW
The Shopper Shuttle service will operate from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday only.
- Serves Meade Village and Freetown Village.
- Connection to Quarterfield Crossing.
The County remains committed to safety and this includes:
REQUIRED face coverings. NO EXCEPTIONS. Each vehicle will be outfitted with extra face covering if necessary.
Daily cleaning protocols of vehicles sanitized twice daily, which falls in line with health department recommendations.
All drivers are equipped with safety devices both (gloves and mask). Social distancing guidelines have been implemented regarding the transport of all passengers.
