County Executive Steve Schuh to Attend State of the Union Address
Annapolis, MD (January 20, 2014) – Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh will attend the President’s State of the Union Address tonight at the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
“I’m honored to attend such an important national occasion,” said County Executive Steve Schuh. “While President Obama and I may disagree on issues, we are all Americans and the State of the Union Address starts the conversation between both parties on how we can make our country a better place.”
The County Executive will attend as a guest of United States Senator Ben Cardin.
“I thank Senator Cardin for his gracious invitation, and look forward to working with him over the next four years to make our county the best place to live, work, and start a business in Maryland,” Schuh added.
County Executive Steve Schuh was sworn in as 9th Anne Arundel County Executive on December 1st.
