County Executive Steve Schuh Releases Statement on Recent Northrop Grumman Contract Announcement
Annapolis, MD (November 4, 2015) – Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh today released the following statement on Northrop Grumman’s recently announced $22 billion contract to develop and manufacture the next generation stealth bomber for the military:
“Congratulations to the employees of Northrop Grumman worldwide and here in Anne Arundel County.
Northrop’s operations located in Anne Arundel County have a very important role to play in the execution of this contract in the years to come, and we are excited about the inevitable economic benefits to our county and working families.
We are extremely proud to host so many of our nation's federal and corporate organizations that provide for our national defense, and are especially proud of Northrop Grumman's success in gaining this critically important contract.”
