Caregiver Workshops Offered

Annapolis, MD (March 15, 2017) - The Department of Aging and Disabilities is pleased to announce two (2) up-coming Caregiver Workshops.
 
A limited number of spaces are available for the April 11th "Communicating through Behaviors and the Virtual Dementia Tour" at the Arnold Senior Activity Center (44 Church Road, Arnold). For information or to register for this workshop, call  or .
 
Nicole Absar, M.D. Medical Director of the Copper Ridge Memory Clinic, will present "Different Types of Dementia, Diagnoses and Treatment" on April 12, 2017 at the Pascal Senior Activity Center (125 Dorsey Road, Glen Burnie). For information or to register for this workshop, call , or register online at . 
 
All workshops will be held from 630-8:30 pm and are presented at no cost to the public by the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
 
The April 12th workshop is sponsored by Somerford Place Annapolis, Home Care Assistance, Greener Pastures Care, LLC, Home Instead Senior Care, Annapolitan Assisted Living, Charlotte Hall Assisted Living, FutureCare Chesapeake, Spring Arbor at Severna Park, and ComForCare Home Care.
