Caregiver Workshops Offered

Annapolis, MD (February 11, 2016) – The Department of Aging and Disabilities is pleased to announce two up-coming Caregiver Workshops. Ann Morrison, Ph.D., RN, CS, will present “Caregiver Strategies: Managing Expectations and the Environment” on March 2, 2016 at the Arnold Senior Activity Center, 44 Church Road, Arnold.

 

On March 15, join Mary Chaput at the South County Senior Activity Center, 27 Stepneys Lane, Edgewater, for a viewing of the award winning documentary “Alive Inside” followed by a discussion on how family caregivers can use music to create a calming environment.

 

All workshops will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and are presented at no cost to the public by the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.

 

The March workshops are sponsored by: Somerford Place Annapolis, Annapolitan Assisted Living, Home Care Assistance, Home Instead Senior Care, and Spring Arbor of Severna Park.
