Commercial Robbery Glen Burnie
On July 1, 2018 at approximately 11:23 p.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at Quarterfield Liquors located at 7702 Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie. A store clerk stated the suspects entered the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash and liquor. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. Officers canvassed the area, however were unable to locate the suspect.

Western District
Shooting Severn
On July 1, 2018 at approximately 1:32 a.m., officers responded to a call for gunshot in the 8200 block of Coatsbridge Court in Severn. When officers arrived on scene they were unable to locate any victim or the suspects. During their investigation it was discovered that three houses were struck by the gun fire. There were no injuries. Detectives are investigating and asking anyone with information to call Western District Detectives 410-222-6155.

Serious Injury Crash Gambrills
On June 29, 2018 at approximately 9:14 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Dicus Mill Road at Arabian Court in Gambrills. Preliminary investigation showed that a Honda motorcycle was traveling westbound on Dicus Mill Road when it struck a deer in the roadway. The motorcycle operator was airlifted to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with critical injuries. The primary cause of this crash appears to be an animal in the roadway. Speed or alcohol does not appear to have contributed to this crash. The Traffic Safety Section is handing the investigation
