Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities to Offer Caregiver Educational Workshops

Annapolis, MD (September 18, 2017) - The Department of Aging and Disabilities is pleased to announce two (2) up-coming Caregiver Educational Workshops.
 
Kim Burton, Director of Older Adult Programs with the Maryland Coalition on Mental Health & Aging, will present "Caring for Someone with a Mental Illness" on October 5, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Pascal Senior Activity Center, located at 125 Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie. For information or to register for this workshop, call , or register online at . 
 
A limited number of spaces are available for the October 17th"Communicating through Behaviors" experiential learning workshop at the Department of Aging & Disabilities North County office located at 7320 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie). This workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For information or to register for this workshop, call  or . 
 
All workshops are presented at no cost to the public by the National Family Caregiver Support Program of the Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
 
The October 5th workshop is sponsored by Somerford Place Annapolis, Home Instead Senior Care, Future Care Chesapeake and Spring Arbor of Severna Park.
