All drivers are equipped with safety devices, including both gloves and masks. Social distancing guidelines have been implemented regarding the transport of all passengers.

Office of Transportation is also using its resources to aid in food deliveries in conjunction with the Department of Aging and Disabilities and Anne Arundel County Police Department. The department has also branded county transit vehicles as a reminder to make sure residents complete the 2020 Census.

“The Office of Transportation continues to Move Anne Arundel during this challenging time,” said director Ramond Robinson. “While we are seeing a reduction in transit ridership due to the crisis, we are reallocating resources to be more creative and provide much-needed service and assistance beyond normal activity.”
