Blacksmith Shop Workday Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details: Stop by the Kinder Farm Park Blacksmith Shop and watch the Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild members forging metal, using various tools. Stand on the sidelines and view a trade that is over 100 years old but still very much alive today at Kinder Farm Park. The Blacksmith Shop is open on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A public meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Meade Heights Elementary School, 1925 Reece Rd, Ft Meade, MD 20755.
During the meeting, DPW will update citizens on this ongoing design project to provide a connection from the existing Town Center Blvd to Reece Rd. This project will also make improvements to the school parking lots, sidewalk, bike lanes along Reece Rd, and provide access to the Ft Meade EUL development site. Overall project description, project needs, hydraulic design, right of way impacts, tree impacts, environmental permitting impacts and project schedule will be addressed.
