      WHEN: Monday, February 25, 2019 - 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
      WHERE: Windsor Farm Elementary School - Cafeteria, 591 Broadneck Rd, Annapolis, MD 21409
       
      A public meeting has been scheduled for Monday, February 25, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Windsor Farm Elementary School Cafeteria to discuss the upcoming Broadneck Trail Phase 3 Capital Project.  The proposed trail will extend from Bay Dale Drive to Anne Arundel Community College and may be located near or adjacent to your property.
       
      DPW officials will present information on the Design Development Phase of the project during the meeting.  Presenters at the meeting will also answer questions from those attending.
      The public meeting will be rescheduled if the Windsor Farm Elementary School is closed due to inclement weather.

    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00a - 12:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Weekly Rabies & Microchip Clinic Time: 12:00p - 3:00p Location: 411 Maxwell Frye Road Millersville, MD 21108 Details:

      Low cost rabies vaccinations and microchip implantations are available every Thursday (except holidays) for a period of 3 hours at Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control. Times are dependent on the season and we do have some clinics with special hours.  The veterinarian leaves promptly at the end time for the clinic. Depending on the length of the line, Animal Care & Control may conclude the line at an appropriate time to ensure all individuals remaining in line receive the services.  
        

      Please note clinics are weather permitting and may be canceled for high temperatures, low temperatures, precipitation, air quality or any other factors that may increase risks to citizens or animals at the outdoor clinic. 
        

      Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers.

Everyone, including you, has a story to tell. When it is real and personal and from your own experience, these stories can be compelling and universally appealing. This four-part class focuses on the written word, your own story, and how to then confidently and effectively Present with Power and Poise in Public. Please join us whether you are looking to build confidence and tune your skills or are a polished public speaker. Participants should bring a draft story of up to three pages to the first class, attend the three classes, edit and fine-tune their speech to share with the class and then present their four-to -seven minute Edgewater Talk “EDTalk” at the senior center on a future date in March. Your facilitator, Paul Foer, has presented to audiences in over 20 states and is a Bronze level Toastmaster. He holds an MA in journalism, was a radio show host, wrote over 150 columns for The Capital newspaper and hundreds of articles and stories in other publications. He thinks that public speaking is fun, and hopes you will agree.
