    • Blacksmith Shop Workday Time: 1:00p - 4:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details: Stop by the Kinder Farm Park Blacksmith Shop and watch the Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild members forging metal, using various tools. Stand on the sidelines and view a trade that is over 100 years old but still very much alive today at Kinder Farm Park. The Blacksmith Shop is open on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    • Ethics Commission Meeting(Cancelled) Time: 4:00p - 6:00p Location: 2666 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:

      The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission.  The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes.  Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.  If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information. The commission has the discretion to permit a person to address the commission during a meeting, and may limit the time for the remarks of any speaker. The commission will not respond to questions or comments during a meeting, but upon request, will respond in writing to any speaker within a reasonable time after the meeting.

    • Plumbing Commission Meeting Time: 8:30a - 9:00a Location: 2664 Riva Road, 1st Floor Conference Room, Annapolis, MD. Details: Advisory body to County Council on rules and regulations designed to govern the conduct of plumbing and utility professionals.  Advises and assists the Director of Inspections and Permits in the adoption of rules and regulations, approval of materials, and interpretations of Title 4, and makes recommendations for revisions of this title.
       
       
    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00a - 12:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Plan2040 CAC Meeting Time: 4:30p - 6:30p Location: 2664 Riva Road, Heritage Complex, Annapolis, MD 21401 -Chesapeake Room at 2664 Riva Road Details:

      The Plan2040 Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides input to the Office of Planning and Zoning in the development of Plan2040. The Commission consists of a Chair, citizens from each of the seven County Council districts, as well as representatives from the environment, building, education, and planning sectors.

      Meetings are on the first and third Wednesday of each month, tentatively set for 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the Chesapeake Room of the Heritage Office Complex (2664 Riva Road, Annapolis). Meetings are open to the public.
