      • All Regional Parks (Downs, Fort Smallwood, Quiet Waters, Lake Waterford, Kinder Farm, and Jug Bay), County Trails and the Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink will close at 3:30pm on Friday, December 24th. 
      • North Arundel Aquatic Center and Arundel Olympic Swim Center will be closed on Friday, December 24th.
      • North and South Recreation Centers will be closed on Friday, December 24th. 
      • Glen Burnie Ice Rink will be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Friday, December 24th.

      Form and Fabric

      The opening will be held on Nov 21 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm in the Willow Gallery of the Visitor Center. The park entrance fee will be waived for the reception only. All items may be removed upon purchase, creating an excellent opportunity for holiday shopping.

      The following artists will be participating:

      Chesapeake Weavers: textiles, dyed clothing and accessories

      Chesapeake Woodturners: handmade wooden items

      Garage Art: pottery

      Ardythe Jolliff: note cards

      Joan Machinchick: paintings, calendars and calligraphy

      Donna Schramek: soft sculpture

      Liz Sork: hand-painted glasses

      Annette Uroskie: paintings and photographs.

       
       
    • Field Work Fridays Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Details: Kick off the weekend with the great feeling that comes with doing good and important work! Join our Field Work Fridays at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. Every Friday rain or shine, volunteers join staff naturalists to tackle a stewardship project in need of support. Projects include invasive plant removals, trash clean-ups, gardening, citizen science monitoring, and more. Volunteers are welcome to bring a bagged lunch to enjoy after our work is completed. No prior training or experience is necessary to join our Field Work Fridays! Free. Ages 8 and up, minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
