      Due to the significant increase in positive rabies cases experienced in Anne Arundel County, Animal Control is doing its part to help protect all Anne Arundel County pets from the deadly rabies virus.

      Due to health and safety concerns for animals and humans alike, the Rabies Clinic will be canceled on any day that the anticipated heat index is above 100 degrees or if other inclement weather that could jeopardize the safety of pets and humans. 
         
      Be sure to bring a bowl and water for your animals to drink while you wait in line!

    • Public Hearing: RTA Route Changes! Time: 6:00p - 8:00p Location: See Description Details: Central Maryland Transportation & Mobility Commission gives notice of a public hearing regarding proposed route and/or schedule changes affecting Regional Transportation Agency (RTA) routes: 401, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 409B, 414 and 501. The public hearing will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the RTA Administration Building located at 8510 Corridor Road, Suite 110, Savage, Maryland. Riders can access the location via RTA Route 409.
       
      CMTMC opens a 30-day public comment period on Wednesday, November 14th through Thursday, December 13, 2018. During this period the public is encouraged to provide feedback regarding proposed changes by submitting written comments below, email, [email protected], 7-1-1 MD Relay or mail, RTA Administration office, 8510 Corridor Road, Suite 110, Savage, MD 20763. Proposed changes are scheduled to begin Monday, March 31, 2019.
