Items will be displayed through Friday, December 13. Bid on some great items, including LOTS of mystery gift boxes! We guarantee all mystery boxes will be full of awesome gifts. Bidding ends on Friday, December 13 at 12:00 p.m. You must bid in person. Winning bidders will be contacted by the Center if you are not here on December 13. Proceeds benefit the Center.     • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Bill Sharkey Book Signing Time: 10:00am - 10:30am Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: One of our very own seniors, Bill Sharkey, has just published his first children’s book, and would proudly like to share his experience with us! Bill taught music at 11 elementary and high schools in Anne Arundel for 34 years, retired in 2001 and became a proud grandpa in 2016. His granddaughter is what inspired him to write his first children’s book. His book will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments will be served.

    • Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest Time: 12:00pm - 12:30pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Dress to impress at our UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER CONTEST! We want to see the ugliest holiday sweaters you can purchase or create! Decorate a sweater or sweater vest with your materials of choice, as long as it's over-the-top and ugly, you're good to go. To be eligible as an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contestant you must wear a Christmas, Hanukah or Kwanzaa themed Sweater or Sweater Vest. Turtlenecks, sweatshirt and long or short-sleeved t-shirts will not be accepted. Winner will be determined by a judging panel, and receive a special prize!

There might be a story about Snoopy and another about Grandma. One hour of all your favorites from Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams and many others.

    • Planning Advisory Board Meeting(Cancelled) Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Chesapeake Room, Second Floor, Heritage Office Complex, 2664 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD. Details: The Planning Advisory Board (PAB) makes advisory recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Officer and the County Council relating to the Master Plan, the zoning maps, and rules and regulations relating to zoning.

    • County Executive Pittman to Present State of the County Time: 6:30pm - 7:00pm Locations: County Council Chambers in the Arundel Center (first floor) 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis MD Details:

      Annapolis, Md (November 27, 2019) Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman will deliver a State of the County address in the County Council Chambers at the Arundel Center on December 11 at 6:30 p.m.

      The address will be live streamed on Arundel TV at bit.ly/arundeltv.

    • Transportation Commission Meeting Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Locations: 2664 Riva Road, Heritage Complex, Annapolis, MD 21401 - Independence Room at 2664 Riva Road Details:
      The meetings are held in the Independence Room at: 2664 Riva Road, on the first floor, Annapolis, MD 21401.
       
      For those of you who have not been to them, there is an outside entrance and it will have blue awnings over the door and ramp/walkway, this is the Independence Room.
       
      These meetings will start at 6:30 PM until usually about 8:00 PM, unless there are a lot of Agenda items or a lot of discussions, then it may go past 8:00 PM.
       
       
    • Police Community Relations Council Meeting Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Police Western District Details:

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
