    • Holiday Silent Auction Time: All Day Locations: South County Senior Activity Center 27 Stepneys Lane Edgewater, MD 21037 Details: Get a jump on holiday shopping at our Holiday Gift Silent Auction. Items will be displayed through Friday, December 13. Bid on some great items, including LOTS of mystery gift boxes! We guarantee all mystery boxes will be full of awesome gifts. Bidding ends on Friday, December 13 at 12:00 p.m. You must bid in person. Winning bidders will be contacted by the Center if you are not here on December 13. Proceeds benefit the Center. Don’t miss out on great holiday gifts! 
    • Jewelry Sale Begins Time: All Day Locations: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Our Fall Jewelry Sale Begins on Tuesday, December 3rd, and goes through Thursday, December 12th. 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Don’t miss out on some unique pieces of jewelry and a chance to get some holiday shopping done! There will also be a Bake Sale on Tuesday, December 3rd. 
    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Respite Care Presentation Time: 10:00am - 10:30am Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: If you, a family member, customer or resident of Anne Arundel County is caring for an individual that has a functional or developmental disability, they may be eligible for the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services’ Respite Care Program. What is Respite Care? Respite is a temporary break for caregivers from their regular care giving responsibilities. These breaks can allow caregivers to do things they would not otherwise have time for or be able to do (vacation, running errands, etc.). Come to this presentation to see if this program can benefit you. 
    • Preschool Storytime Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Linthicum Community Library Details: Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for
      school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
    • Van Trip - Walmart (Severn) Time: 11:00am - 1:30pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: It’s time to finish that holiday shopping! And what better place than the Severn Wal-Mart! The van will leave the Center at 9:30 to go to the store, and will return to the Center by 12:00. Seats on the van are limited. Sign up by Thursday, November 27th. 
    • Birthday Celebrations Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Locations: South County Senior Activity Center 27 Stepneys Lane Edgewater, MD 21037 Details: Join us for cake and ice cream to celebrate December birthdays. All are welcome. 
    • Book Club Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Come join us for the Book Club. In conjunction with the AACPLS we will be meeting to discuss the book Almost Everything by Ann La Mott. Please register at the front desk.
    • Book Club Meeting Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: November’s Book Club meeting was a good pro & con discussion of books recently read and several of us came away with new titles to add to books we’d like to read. At this month’s meeting our discussion book is “Educated” by Tara Westover. January 8th will be an “open discussion”. The February 5th meeting will be the discussion of “Brenda’s Path: A Journey of Self Discovery” by Barbara J. Davis. We hope to see many new faces as we get into the “dead” of winter! 
    • Music with Tim Amann from Pet Rock Time: 12:30pm - 1:00pm Locations: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Get in the Holiday spirit as this crowd favorite will be performing some classic Holiday music
    • Citizens Advisory Committee meeting Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm Locations: Chesapeake Conference Room Bldg. #2664 Riva Road, 2nd Floor Details:

      The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides input to the Office of Planning and Zoning in the development of Plan2040, the General Development Plan for Anne Arundel County.

    • Broadneck Phase Ib & V Meeting Announcement - NEW DATE! Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Windsor Farm Elementary School 591 Broadneck Rd, Annapolis, MD 21409 Details:

      The public meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., has been rescheduled to Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at Windsor Farm Elementary School Cafeteria to present the construction planned for the final three miles of the Broadneck Peninsula Trail. Construction, which is anticipated to begin in November 2020, will occur from Cape St. Claire Road to Sandy Point. Road closure and/or lane closure is not anticipated.
      DPW officials will present information on the proposed construction, and will also answer questions from those in attendance.

    • Police Community Relations Council Meeting Time: 7:30pm - 8:30pm Locations: Police Northern District Details:

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
