      This is the Crown Jewel of our fundraising events! Our annual Silent Auction will uphold our tradition of offering the nicest selection of: GIFT CERTIFICATES TO AN ARRAY OF LOCAL BUSINESSES, RESTAURANTS AND SHOPS; COLLECTIBLE ITEMS; FINE ARTWORK; THE OBLIGATORY NFL TEAM BASKETS; THEMED BASKETS ( ITALIAN, CAMPING, ICE CREAM LOVERS, CHOCOLATE, TO NAME A FEW); MANY FINE WINES AND SPIRITS; AND THIS JUST IN: (2) NFL COLLECTIBLE JERSEYS & SO MUCH MORE! There will be special ZINGER prices on many items that allow you to buy that item immediately! Place bids daily between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Shop for yourself, or take this opportunity to do some holiday shopping for gifts. Make your bids throughout the week, and on Friday at 1:00 pm, the highest bidders win the prizes! Winners will be notified, and collection of winning bid items begins at 2:30 pm. 

    • Ancient Grants Time: 10:00am - 11:00am Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Part of the Fresh Conversations series, learn about the differences between whole and refined grains. Identify sources of whole grains and how much to include in your daily diet. Learn how whole grains can help prevent common health problems. Please register at the front desk.
    • Mini Massage Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Certified Massage Therapist Bonnie Pavlek offers a tenminute back, neck and hand massage. Massages are free and are first come, first served.
    • Ethics Commission Contingent Meeting (only if called) Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm Locations: 2666 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:

      The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission.  The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes.  Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.  If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information. The commission has the discretion to permit a person to address the commission during a meeting, and may limit the time for the remarks of any speaker. The commission will not respond to questions or comments during a meeting, but upon request, will respond in writing to any speaker within a reasonable time after the meeting.  

    • Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild Meeting Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details: The Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild meets every Monday at 7:00 p.m. Members learn and practice new techniques as they work on their projects. No registration required. No gate fees.
