    • American Red Cross Blood Drive Time: 9:30am - 10:30am Locations: Edgewater Library 25 Stepneys Lane, Edgewater, MD 21037 Details:

      Special Event - Adults/Health & Wellness

      Basic requirements for donating blood: general good health; 17 to 75 years of age (16 with written parental consent); and a weight of at least 110 pounds. Walk-in or call the American Red Cross at 1.800.733.2767 to schedule an appointment.

    • Therapeutic Massage Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Bonnie Pavlek will demonstrate  the benefits of massage to help reduce tension and stress. Please register at the front desk.

      Nutritionist Emily Craft from Giant Foods will show how to prepare and microwave healthy, tasty foods that fit in a mug.  Registration is required two weeks prior to the program.  Bring your own mug!

    • Free Legal Advice: Ask a Lawyer in the Library Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm Locations: Eastport Annapolis Neck Community Library 269 Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis, MD 21403 Details:

      Special Event - Adults
      Talk with a lawyer for up to 20 minutes about your legal issue for free. Lottery to determine time slots begins after 4:15 pm. Last clients will be seen at 6:10 pm. Lawyers can advise on all types of legal matters except criminal law.
