Regional Transit Plan Open House Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm Locations: Severna Park Community Center 623 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. Severna Park, MD 21146 Details:The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) is leading the development of a new Regional Transit Plan for Central Maryland that will define public transportation goals over the next 25 years. MDOT MTA is collaborating with a broad range of partners, including a newly-formed Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan commission, local governments, transit providers, and area residents to develop a long-term vision for transit in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County, and Howard County. The Plan will address traditional transit (buses and trains) as well as explore new mobility options and technology to meet our region's transit needs. London Town Parking Expansion– Project# P576000 Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Locations: Historic London Town and Gardens Details:
A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., at
Historic London Town & Gardens in the Visitor Center Orientation Room to present the
proposed construction to expand the existing parking lot.
Construction is expected to begin in
late November 2019 and be complete in Spring 2020. Change to traffic patterns is not expected
and road closure is not anticipated.
DPW officials will present information on the proposed construction, and will also answer
questions from those in attendance.
