      2019 Trips are filling quickly. Don’t miss out on your favorite outing by procrastinating. All that’s needed is your $35.00 deposit and a new Emergency Form to reserve your spot! We will be happy to help you in the Trip Office from 10-12 Monday through Friday.

       
       
    • OBI Friendship Bell Ringers Time: 10:30am - 11:00am Locations: Pascal Senior Activity Center 125 Dorsey Road Glen Burnie, MD 21061 Details: Opportunity Builders, Inc. is proud to provide vocational training and employment services to adults with developmental disabilities in an environment that promotes personal fulfillment, addresses individual needs and fosters independence. The Bell Choir will be at Pascal on Tuesday, October 15th at 10:30 and consists of OBI clients, and staff. They perform popular songs, Oldies, Patriotic, Irish polkas, and many other favorites. 
       
       
    • Crafts with Scott Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Come join Scott on Tuesday mornings at 11:00 to make beautiful and creative crafts! Advanced sign-up is required so that there are enough supplies for everyone! *FEES MAY APPLY* OCTOBER 1ST, 15TH, 22ND & 29TH
       
       
    • Fall Harvest Bingo Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Fall is just around the corner so come celebrate with a special bingo. In conjunction with our regular bingo game, if you bring 3 non-perishable food items, you will be given an EXTRA bingo card. There will be plenty of extra and seasonal bingo prizes added to the prize table. Not only will there be more opportunities to win but more prizes to choose from. Plus we’ll be having apple cider and apple streusel to help get into that fall spirit. 
       
       
    • Happy Hats Maryland Wig Workshop Time: 12:30pm - 3:30pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Kay Alston from Happy Hats Maryland, returns to make whimsical yarn wigs and hats for pediatric cancer patients in the Mid-Atlantic region. This workshop is for anyone who would like to lend a hand in making the wigs. All materials and supplies are provided and Kay will teach participants, working in pairs, how to assemble and style the hair. It typically takes 2-3 hours to assemble and style each wig. Come and have fun while helping to put a smile on a child’s face! Light refreshments will be served. Workshop is limited to the first 16 people that sign up.
       
       
    • Open Monthly Grief Support Group Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: The Pasadena Senior Activity Center hosts a monthly grief support group. This is intended for individuals who would like to share and have support amid experiencing difficult loss. It will be held the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Please contact the facilitator Beth Mucciacciaro RN with the Department of Aging and Disabilities at 410- 222-0263 if you are interested. Individual visits are available as well.
       
       
    • Mapping Meeting Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm Locations: Rivera Beach Fire Department Magothy River Middle School 8506 Ft. Smallwood Road 241 Peninsula Farm Road #1052 Pasadena, MD 21122 Details:

      The meeting will begin at 5:30 with a brief presentation by CAC staff at 6:00.

    • HRC Meeting Time: 6:30pm - 7:00pm Locations: 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis, Maryland, 21401 Details: The eleven-member commission meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Heritage Complex, 2660 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401.
