    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Dancing & Exercise Workshop Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Did you know, vigorous dancing done as an exercise for physical fitness combines the exercise of aerobics and the steps and rhythm of dance, making it a more enjoyable experience? Feel the music, challenge every part of your body, and leave feeling exhilarated and inspired! Come and explore this (2) hour workshop (with a 10 minute break in between), taught by veteran dance instructor, Joanne Dewilde. The first hour features “Theatre Dance! Learn a short routine called “Balling the Jack,” a fun and easy swing dance routine. (HATS AND SCARVES WILL BE SUPPLIED). The second hour will consist of middle-eastern (Belly Dance) steps. No full routine. These dance moves will help you stay limber and flexible and keeps your core strong. All of the hand and arm moves will also keep the arthritis away! DANCING IS A FUN AND SOMETIMES SEXY WAY TO EXERCISE SO SIGN UP (15 people max) AND DON'T GET LEFT OUT OF THIS FREE, FUN UPCOMING WORKSHOP!
       
       
    • Preschool Storytime Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Linthicum Community Library Details: Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for
      school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
       
       
    • Music with Tim Amann from Pet Rock Time: 12:30pm - 1:00pm Locations: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Tim Amann from Pet Rock will be singing some of your favorite songs.
       
       
    • Right Sizing Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Marie Simpson, a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist will be offering a class that will provide the steps needed to downsize or rightsize your life. You will learn about the unique challenges of downsizing and resources specific to Anne Arundel County. This class will explore opportunities for reexamining life as it has been and how it can be with a few changes. Register at the front desk
       
       
    • Planning Advisory Board Meeting(Cancelled) Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Chesapeake Room, Second Floor, Heritage Office Complex, 2664 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD. Details: The Planning Advisory Board (PAB) makes advisory recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Officer and the County Council relating to the Master Plan, the zoning maps, and rules and regulations relating to zoning.

    • Transportation Commission Meeting Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Locations: 2664 Riva Road, Heritage Complex, Annapolis, MD 21401 - Independence Room at 2664 Riva Road Details:
      The meetings are held in the Independence Room at: 2664 Riva Road, on the first floor, Annapolis, MD 21401.
       
      For those of you who have not been to them, there is an outside entrance and it will have blue awnings over the door and ramp/walkway, this is the Independence Room.
       
      These meetings will start at 6:30 PM until usually about 8:00 PM, unless there are a lot of Agenda items or a lot of discussions, then it may go past 8:00 PM.
       
       
       
    • Police Community Relations Council Meeting Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Police Western District Details:

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
