    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Preschool Storytime Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Linthicum Community Library Details: Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for
      school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
    • Crab N Go Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: For those that purchased crabs, they will be delivered today and available for pickup from 11 am to 2 pm.
    • Birthday Celebrations Time: 12:00pm - 12:30pm Locations: South County Senior Activity Center 27 Stepneys Lane Edgewater, MD 21037 Details: Join us for cake and ice cream to celebrate October birthdays. All are welcome.
    • Book Club Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Come join us for the 2nd meeting of our Book Club. In conjunction with the AACPLS we will be meeting to discuss the book Your Heart, My Hands by Arun Singh. See page 4 for the full book list. Registration is not required but be sure to sign in.
    • Book Club Meeting Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: The Book Club met Wed., Sept. 4th to discuss possible book selections for future meetings. We enjoyed our time and welcomed back summer vacationers and some new faces. The following schedule of meetings and titles was decided and we hope with a little advance info more folks will opt to read these selections and join in the talks: Oct.2 - “The Blue Zone” by Dan Buettner; Nov.6 Open discussion; Dec.4 “Educated” by Tara Westover. We hope to see you soon! This is an open group so feel free to come anytime.
    • DJ Bob Jones Time: 12:30pm - 1:00pm Locations: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Your favorite DJ is back! Listen to some of your favorite tunes that will give you nostalgia. 
    • That 70s Show Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm Locations: South County Senior Activity Center 27 Stepneys Lane Edgewater, MD 21037 Details: Frank and Trish Curreri take you back to the far-out, funky 70’s with this show—from southern rock to disco, R&B to Donnie & Marie, the 1970's had it all.
    • Citizens Advisory Committee meeting Time: 5:00pm - 7:00pm Locations: Chesapeake Conference Room Bldg. #2664 Riva Road, 2nd Floor Details:

      The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides input to the Office of Planning and Zoning in the development of Plan2040, the General Development Plan for Anne Arundel County.

    • Police Community Relations Council Meeting Time: 7:30pm - 8:30pm Locations: Police Northern District Details:

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
