    • Pascal Fun**draiser Day Time: All Day Locations: Pascal Senior Activity Center 125 Dorsey Road Glen Burnie, MD 21061 Details: On Wednesday, September 25th, Pascal will be having a pop up fundraising day that will include several fun events, that you’ll be sure to enjoy! We’ll be having : A Jewelry and purse/handbag sale Puzzle sale Laminate Station Several Raffles 50/50 Hot dog/chips and soda combo for sale Ceramics Chinese auction Jewelry Repair table Wii Bowling tournament that would love cheerleaders ...and even a few more surprises!
       
       
    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Crab Feast Time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm Locations: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Each member will enjoy a dozen large crabs, corn, coleslaw, near beer and iced tea. Tickets are $38.00. A $5.00 deposit may be made to hold your spot but final payment is due by 9/13/19. Have a wonderful afternoon with friends and enjoy one of Maryland’s most favorite pastimes, eating crabs!

    • Planning Advisory Board Meeting Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Heritage Office Complex Chesapeake Rm. 2nd Fl. 2664 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:
      The Planning Advisory Board (PAB) makes advisory recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Officer and the County Council relating to the Master Plan, the zoning maps, and rules and regulations relating to zoning.

    • Brooklyn Park Teen Center and Brooklyn Park Complex Public Meeting Time: 7:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Park Elementary School 201 East 11th Ave, Brooklyn Park, MD Details:

      A public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. 8:30 p.m., at Park Elementary School to present the proposed construction of both Brooklyn Park Teen Center and Brooklyn Park Complex. This meeting will address the concept for the Brooklyn Park Teen Center and the design for the Brooklyn Park Complex. Construction is anticipated to begin in Spring 2020 for the Brooklyn Park Complex and Summer 2021 for the Brooklyn Park Teen Center. Road closure is not anticipated. 

      DPW officials will present information on the proposed construction, and will also answer questions from those in attendance.

      Please join the public meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Bowie City Hall, Council Chamber, 15901 Excalibur Road, Bowie, MD 20716.
       

      The Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) has analyzed the feedback received from residents of Prince George’s and Anne Arundel County on the six proposed bridge alternatives for the replacement of Governor’s Bridge Road Bridge. The alternatives were presented at the October 17, 2018 public information meeting. These results of the feedback have been shared with Anne Arundel County Public Works.
