Anne Arundel Bird Club Walk Time: 8:00am - 11:00am Locations: Quiet Waters Park Details: Join Anne Arundel Bird Club Members Sue and Alan Young on a bird walk around the park. See how many resident and migrant birds you can spot! Participants should bring good walking shoes and binoculars (not required, but helpful!) Park admission fee is waived for participants. Upon arrival, inform the gate attendant that you are with the Anne Arundel Bird Club. Meet at Blue Heron Center Parking Lot.

Free Patuxent River Clean Up by Canoe Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm Locations: Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Details:
Have fun on the water and help clean up the Patuxent River. We will paddle the Patuxent and Western Branch picking up trash along the way. Trips are 4 hours long and include: general orientation, basic paddling lesson, up to 0.5 mile walk to canoes, launching canoes, and paddling. Paddlers can expect to actively paddle for 2 to 2.5 hours. Children must be at least 7 years old, and under 13 must be accompanied by two paddling adults. The child will sit in the middle of the canoe with adults paddling. The Patuxent River is a relatively slow moving river, but paddlers must be able to propel the canoe through the water. Bring plenty of water, lunch, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, and wear closed toe shoes that can get wet & muddy. Free.

Blacksmith Shop Workday Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details: Stop by the Kinder Farm Park Blacksmith Shop and watch the Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild members forging metal, using various tools. Stand on the sidelines and view a trade that is over 100 years old but still very much alive today at Kinder Farm Park. The Blacksmith Shop is open on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Family Day at Historic Hancock's Resolution Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Historic Hancock’s Resolution Details: Photo essays of Hancock and Cook family members, a display of family recipes and slices of favorite traditional cakes that the family made. The band is a Caribbean-infused trio whose reggae vibes are woven throughout the fabric of the band’s wide diversity of music. For the last 10 years cross-generational audiences across the region have swayed and danced to this dynamic trio. Guava
Jelly is an eclectic mix of cultural backgrounds reflecting the music they play.This event is weather permitting. The Hatton Regester Green is adjacent to the B&A Trail in Severna Park, MD.

There are a limited amount of benches in the park near the gazebo, so you’re encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner.
