    • Plumbing Commission Meeting Time: 8:30am - 9:00am Locations: 2664 Riva Road, 1st Floor Conference Room, Annapolis, MD. Details: Advisory body to County Council on rules and regulations designed to govern the conduct of plumbing and utility professionals.  Advises and assists the Director of Inspections and Permits in the adoption of rules and regulations, approval of materials, and interpretations of Title 4, and makes recommendations for revisions of this title.
       
       
    • Flea Market Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm Locations: Brooklyn Park Senior Activity Center 202 Hammonds Lane Brooklyn Park, MD 21225 Details:

      We will be selling lunch and baked goods on Thursday only. Donations will be accepted through 9/14. Please clean all unbroken items. No furniture, clothes, computer or televisions.

       
       
    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Shop 'N Eat Program O'Malley Time: 9:30am - 11:30am Locations: O'Malley Activity Center - 1275 Odenton Road Odenton, MD 21113 Details:

      Shop’N Eat (Subsidizing Healthy-food Options Plus Nutrition Education and Training) is a new program to educate and provide opportunities for developing healthy eating habits for AACo. Senior residents through the use of subsidized grocery cash cards.

      Participants must be 60 years or older, Anne Arundel County resident (must show proof) and participate in nutrition education each quarter.

    • Preschool Storytime Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Linthicum Community Library Details: Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for
      school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
