    • Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.

      Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

    • Severe Weather & Hurricane Preparedness Presentation Time: 10:00am - 11:00am Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Have you prepared yourself for severe
      weather, including hurricanes? The Atlantic
      Hurricane Season runs from June 1 to
      November 30, with September and October historically
      being the most active months. The Anne Arundel County
      Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is offering this
      presentation which will cover the following topics:
      • Maryland Summer severe weather hazards (including
      • hurricanes) and preparedness tips
      • The 2019 Hurricane Season outlook
      • How to prepare for any storm (make a plan, stay
      • informed, build a kit, get involved)
      • Power outages
      • What to do after the storm
      • The presentation includes preparedness handouts and a
      • small giveaway item.
       
       
    • Planning Advisory Board Meeting Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm Locations: Chesapeake Room, Second Floor, Heritage Office Complex, 2664 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD. Details: The Planning Advisory Board (PAB) makes advisory recommendations to the Planning and Zoning Officer and the County Council relating to the Master Plan, the zoning maps, and rules and regulations relating to zoning.

    • Transportation Commission Meeting Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Locations: 2664 Riva Road, Heritage Complex, Annapolis, MD 21401 - Independence Room at 2664 Riva Road Details:
      The meetings are held in the Independence Room at: 2664 Riva Road, on the first floor, Annapolis, MD 21401.
       
      For those of you who have not been to them, there is an outside entrance and it will have blue awnings over the door and ramp/walkway, this is the Independence Room.
       
      These meetings will start at 6:30 PM until usually about 8:00 PM, unless there are a lot of Agenda items or a lot of discussions, then it may go past 8:00 PM.

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
