    • Free Parenting Program Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Brooklyn Park Library 1 East 11th Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21225 Details:

      Learn about a free parenting program for parents with children from ages 0 to 5. The program is offered on Mondays from at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 12, 2019 to September 30, 2019 at the Brooklyn Park Library. 
       

      The Circle of Security is an 8-week relationship-based program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and their children.

    • The Memoirs Writing Group Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Meeting twice a month to share short stories and vignettes that we write from the memories of our lives. Topics are what we choose, about good times or challenging, about ourselves or the people in our lives today or in the past. The group is not focused on grammar or editing, rather it provides a warm and supportive environment to encourage us to write down our memories and then read them together. Please register at the front desk.
       
       
    • Ethics Commission Meeting(Cancelled) Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm Locations: 2666 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:

      The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission.  The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes.  Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.  If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information. The commission has the discretion to permit a person to address the commission during a meeting, and may limit the time for the remarks of any speaker. The commission will not respond to questions or comments during a meeting, but upon request, will respond in writing to any speaker within a reasonable time after the meeting.
