World Cinema Film Series
Join us for four consecutive Wednesdays to view international films that highlight cultural diversity. Library Foundation executive director and local cinephile, Ann Glenn, who’s been introducing movies at area venues for more than 15 years, will introduce the films that feature some of the diverse languages spoken in Anne Arundel County. Each screening will be followed with a Q&A session. Please call the branch to register.

Plumbing Commission Meeting Time: 8:30am - 9:00am Locations: 2664 Riva Road, 1st Floor Conference Room, Annapolis, MD. Details: Advisory body to County Council on rules and regulations designed to govern the conduct of plumbing and utility professionals. Advises and assists the Director of Inspections and Permits in the adoption of rules and regulations, approval of materials, and interpretations of Title 4, and makes recommendations for revisions of this title.
Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:
Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.
Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.

school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
Crabfeast & Music Entertainment Time: 11:45am - 12:15pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: First and last one of the season! You can order crabs and special meal! Crabs can be taken home, but the meal part cannot. Meal includes: MD crab soup, bbq chicken, potato salad, watermelon and as a special treat, Rita’s Ices! Cost of take home crabs: $24.00 per dozen or $12.00 for ½ dozen. Please donate generously for the meal . Entertainment will also be provided by REAR VIEW MIRROR!
