      Daily July 1- August 31, 2019.  Search the library for picture clues and decode the secret message. Everyone earns a prize.

    • Acoustic Song Circle Time: 8:00am - 8:30am Locations: Deale Community Library 5940 Deale-Churchton Road 20751 Details:

    • Plumbing Commission Meeting Time: 8:30am - 9:00am Locations: 2664 Riva Road, 1st Floor Conference Room, Annapolis, MD. Details: Advisory body to County Council on rules and regulations designed to govern the conduct of plumbing and utility professionals.  Advises and assists the Director of Inspections and Permits in the adoption of rules and regulations, approval of materials, and interpretations of Title 4, and makes recommendations for revisions of this title.
       
       
    • Pottery Wheel Workshop Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Try out the potter's wheel and learn the basic techniques of making wheel-thrown pottery in this two hour class being held at the Providence Center, next door. We will discuss the process of making pottery, from wet clay to a finished piece. Perfect for those not ready to commit to a six-week class or just looking for a fun, new activity. Includes instruction, 2lbs. of clay, and all necessary tools. Pottery created in the class will be ready for pickup 2 weeks later. No experience required. Cost is $20 per person. The last day to sign up is 7/12
       
       
    • Van Trip - Golden Corral Time: 10:00am - 1:15pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: We’re heading to Arundel Mills for Golden Corral's legendary, large, endless all-you-can-eat buffet and grill offering numerous hot and cold dishes, a carving station, and their Brass Bell Bakery. Participants are responsible for the cost of their meal and tip. Trip limited to the first 12 people that sign up. Sign up by July 10th.
       
       
    • Babies at Play Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Eastport Annapolis Neck Community Library 269 Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis, MD 21403 Details:

      Make new friends and learn through play. Babies from birth to 18 months (with caring adult) may enjoy books, music, and a variety of developmentally appropriate toys during this hour of unstructured social time in our meeting room.

    • Real ID Time: 12:15pm - 2:00pm Locations: Catherine L. O'Malley Senior Center 1275 Odenton Road Odenton, MD 21113 (410) 222-6227 Details: Presented by the MVA. Real ID is federal legislation created in the wake of the September 11th terrorist attacks to establish security standards for all state driver’s licenses and identification cards nationwide. AFTER October 1, 2020, you will be required to have a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or ID card in order to use your driver’s license or ID card to board commercial aircraft for domestic flights or to gain access to federal facilities. Come today to learn which required documents you must submit in order to comply. Representative Max Tucker will help you figure out what you need and how to obtain it. Max will be available for one-on-one questions. Real ID handouts will also be given. 
       
       
    • Music with Mooney and Friends Time: 12:30pm - 1:00pm Locations: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Yours truly, Lewis “Mooney” Day will be performing some of your favorite tunes. Light refreshments will be provided.

      The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides input to the Office of Planning and Zoning in the development of Plan2040, the General Development Plan for Anne Arundel County.

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
