    • Mini Massage Time: 10:00a - 12:00p Location: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Certified Massage Therapist Bonnie Pavlek offers a ten-minute back, neck and hand massage. Massages are free and are first come, first served.
       
       
    • Spring Planting with Spring Arbor Time: 11:00a - 12:00p Location: South County Senior Activity Center 27 Stepneys Lane Edgewater, MD 21037 Details: Spring Arbor Senior Living will be here for a “Mother’s Day” planting activity. Participants get to CREATE their own flower pot. All supplies will be provided to paint and decorate a clay flower pot and plant seeds in soil to take home to watch their plant sprout and grow.

    • Ethics Commission Contingent Meeting (only if called) Time: 4:00p - 5:00p Location: 2666 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:

      The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission.  The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes.  Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.  If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information. The commission has the discretion to permit a person to address the commission during a meeting, and may limit the time for the remarks of any speaker. The commission will not respond to questions or comments during a meeting, but upon request, will respond in writing to any speaker within a reasonable time after the meeting.  

       
             
       
       
    • Public Meeting for Ft Smallwood Park & Shoreline Time: 6:00p - 9:00p Location: Fort Smallwood Elementary School Details: A public meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2019, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm at the Fort Smallwood Elementary School Cafeteria to present the proposed improvements to Fort Smallwood Park.  These improvements including restoring a portion of the existing shoreline, and installing new facilities throughout the park. 
       
       
    • Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild Meeting Time: 7:00p - 10:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details: The Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild meets every Monday at 7:00 p.m. Members learn and practice new techniques as they work on their projects. No registration required. No gate fees. 
       
       
    • Fort Smallwood Park Improvements Public Meeting Time: 7:00p - 8:30p Location: Fort Smallwood Elementary School Details:

      A public meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2019 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., at the Fort Smallwood Elementary School Cafeteria to present proposed improvements to Ft. Smallwood Park. These improvements include restoring of a portion of the existing shoreline, and installing new facilities throughout the park. No road closures are anticipated. 
        
      Department of Recreation and Parks and DPW officials will present information on these proposed improvements, and will also answer questions from those in attendance.
