    • Jewelry making workshop(Cancelled) Time: 12:30pm - 2:00pm Locations: Brooklyn Park Senior Activity Center 202 Hammonds Lane Brooklyn Park, MD 21225 Details: Mondays, April 20th & 27th; 12:30-2:00 Have you always wanted to make your own jewelry? Come join us for a 2 week workshop and tap into your creative side! During the first session participants will make beads out of oven-baked clay, and in the 2nd session participants will use these beads to make necklaces, earrings or bracelets. Supplies will be provided, and there is no fee. Sign up at the front desk- spots are limited! Facilitated by Department of Aging & Disabilities staff member Lori Litke.
       
       
    • Ethics Commission Contingent Meeting (only if called) Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm Locations: 2666 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:

      The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission.  The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes.  Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting.  If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information. The commission has the discretion to permit a person to address the commission during a meeting, and may limit the time for the remarks of any speaker. The commission will not respond to questions or comments during a meeting, but upon request, will respond in writing to any speaker within a reasonable time after the meeting.  

       
             
       
       
    • Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild Meeting(Cancelled) Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details: The Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild meets every Monday at 7:00 p.m. Members learn and practice new techniques as they work on their projects. No registration required. No gate fees. 
       
       
    • County Council Meeting Time: 7:00pm - 11:00pm Locations: Arundel Center - County Council Chambers, 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:

      The agenda is available in the Council Chambers the evening of the meeting. The agenda is held open until the meeting is called to order. (The agenda posted on this site is tentative.) Anyone wishing to speak on legislation may sign up beginning at 6:30 p.m.. Sign-ups may begin at 6:00 p.m. with notice given if legislation is expected to draw a large public attendance.The public is encouraged and invited to attend. A reasonable amount of time is allotted to the public to address the Council on pertinent matters. Members of the public who wish to speak should, after being recognized by the presiding officer, state their name, home address, organization represented (if applicable), the subject matter, whether they are speaking for or against the matter and their remarks.
