    • Living Well Chronic Disease Self-Management Time: 9:30am - 12:00pm Locations: Brooklyn Park Senior Activity Center 202 Hammonds Lane Brooklyn Park, MD 21225 Details: This FREE 6-week Chronic Disease Self-Management Program helps those who have been diagnosed with chronic health issues such as heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, depression, or any other physical or mental health conditions. This workshop teaches participants the self-management skills of action planning, problem solving and decision making. In addition, participants will learn about healthy eating, suggested modes of exercise, and how to manage stress levels. This workshop will meet at the senior center on Tuesday mornings from February 25 – March 31, from 9:30-12:00. Call 410-222-4368 to register.
       
       
    • The Secure Act(Cancelled) Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Pasadena Senior Activity Center 4103 Mountain Road Pasadena, MD 21122 Details: Helen K Avinger of New York Life will be here to discuss the Secure Act, Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act, and how it could impact your retirement.     • Paint and Sip(Cancelled) Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: O'Malley Activity Center - (ANNEX) 1275 Odenton Road Odenton, MD 21113 Details: Join instructor Scott Clarke...beginners and intermediate painters welcome! Come have fun, sip some drink, eat some goodies and take your own painting home! $5.00 fee covers all materials. Wear old clothes or bring an apron if you have one. These workshops have been extremely popular, so sign up early! Payment due at the time of registration.

      Provides an opportunity for the public to comment and hear the status of the Odenton Town Center project.
